Multiomic Staining: Unveiling Tissue Biology with the HCR™ Platform

Today, researchers utilize multiplex immunofluorescence (mIF) and in situ hybridization (ISH) to study biomolecule distribution in intact tissues. However, traditional RNA-ISH methods rely on harsh tissue permeabilization techniques, damaging tissue morphology and native protein targets. This limitation hinders the visualization of the RNA-to-protein transcription process critical for advanced treatments like AAV vectors or CRISPR gene therapies. Molecular Instruments’ HCR™ Platform offers clinical-grade multiomic staining, enhancing histopathology. HistoWiz scientists have demonstrated seamless integration of HCR™ RNA-ISH with multiplex IF, enabling simultaneous detection of transcribed RNA and translated protein on the same slide. In this webinar, the joint teams will present the methodology and science behind the technique, as well as practical examples from a research setting.
